Ottawa County Track gate receipt to go to Genoa student

One-hundred percent of the gate receipts from Tuesday’s 104th Ottawa County Track Meet will go to the family of a Genoa middle school student struck in the head by a discus.

The money will help offset expenses as the student has had major procedures to stop the bleeding in his brain, reconstruct his skull and put a plate in his head. The student has a long way to go to recovery.
