Lights and Sirens: 4 OVI arrests made over weekend

FRIDAY

ARRESTS

Jessica Macmasters, 24, was arrested in the 900 block of South East Street and charged with domestic violence. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

Officers located Dalton Franklin, 23, in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street and he was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. 7:52 p.m.

Bradley Jordan, 41, was arrested on charges of theft and a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released. 8:10 p.m.

INCIDENTS

Officers assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle in the 200 block of S. Sandusky Ave. 7:59 a.m.

A false alarm was received from the 1400 block of Home Circle Drive. 9:41 a.m.

Officers investigated a report of a noise disturbance in the Bucyrus Plaza area. It was a verbal dispute between a couple, no assaults or violations. 9:51 a.m.

Officers assisted a man experiencing mental issues. 10:19 a.m.

Officers did a standby for exchange of property at City Hall. 10:59 a.m.

An income tax summons was served at the police station. 11:02 a.m.

Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 400 block of West Warren Street. The vehicle was gone upon officer’s arrival. 12:37 p.m.

A report of suspicious activity in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue was received. The persons left the area soon after the report was made. 1:13 p.m.

Officers investigated a 9-1-1 hang-up in the Colonial Drive area. The resident had accidentally dialed. 1:43 p.m.

A report of a disturbance was investigated in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street. 1:50 p.m.

A report of child abuse was investigated, and officers assisted Children’s Services. 1:54 p.m.

Officers checked a report of an open building in the 1200 block of Hopley Avenue. 3:20 p.m.

A resident in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street reported her vehicle hit while in the parking lot of Indian Creek Apartments. 4:51 p.m.

ARRESTS

A motorist was issued a citation in the Charles and Lane streets area. Jacob James Morton was cited for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. 12:27 a.m.

Traffic stop near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Reid Street and the driver was charged with OVI. 1:44 a.m.

Traffic stop in the 100 block of North Poplar Street, the driver was charged with OVI. An income tax summons was served to another individual. 2:37 a.m.

Officers responded to a household disturbance in the 100 block of West Galen Street. Wesley Steele, 18, Bucyrus, was arrested on suspicion of underage consumption and resisting arrest. He is being held until sober. 4:54 a.m.

A disturbance in a vehicle in the 300 block of East Mansfield Street was investigated. The vehicle was located in the 700 block of North Sandusky Avenue and a warning given to the driver. 12:03 a.m.

Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of South Sandusky Avenue was unfounded. 12:12 a.m.

Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the 800 block of East Rensselaer Street. 12:25 a.m.

Officers assisted Ohio Highway Patrol in the Irving and Sherman streets area. 1:11 a.m.

7:48pm A report of suspicious activity at a residence in the 800 block of Wingert Street was investigated. It turned out to be a resident doing some home repairs. 7:48 p.m.

Officers checked Woodlawn Avenue for a juvenile in the roadway. No one was located in the area. 8:47 p.m.

ARRESTS

Traffic stop in the 1100 block of Tiffin Street. Charles Smith, 57, was arrested on an OVI charge. He was issued a citation and released to a sober adult. 1:06 a.m.

Traffic stop on Plymouth Street near Maple Street. Kevin Mass, 39, was arrested on an OVI charge. He was issued a citation and released to a sober family member. 2:49 a.m.

Officer answered a call of a person trespassing in a parked vehicle on Washington Square. Thomas Cunningham, 27, was arrested on charges of theft and vehicle trespass. He was issued a summons and minor misdemeanor citation and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for bond. 2:54 a.m.
