Gladieux retires from Genbank board

GENOA – The board of directors of GenBanc Inc., the holding company for GenoaBank, announced that Ronald Gladieux retired as chairman of the Board of Directors of GenBanc and GenoaBank at the annual shareholder’s meeting on April 20.

President and CEO Marty Sutter said: “We are extremely grateful to Ron Gladiuex for the many years of dedicated service and outstanding leadership he has provided to GenoaBank. We have grown tremendously in many ways under his watch.”

Gladieux joined the board in 1997 as a member. He served as chairman of the board from 2013 to 2014. Under his years of leadership, the bank has accomplished significant milestones:

•Grown to more than 95 engaged, dedicated employees.

•Grown from three branch locations to seven.

•Grown from $88.6 million in assets to $289 million.

•Increased capital from $7.1 million to $25.3 million.
