Trace Adkins to headline Muskingum County Fair

ZANESVILLE – Grammy-nominated country star Trace Adkins is bringing his trademark baritone to the Muskingum County Fair in August.

Adkins, known for hits like "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" and "You're Gonna Miss This," will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds. Tickets will be sold at muskingumcofair.com starting at 9 a.m. April 4 and cost $26 for track seats and $16 for the grandstand. As an outspoken advocate for the Wounded Warrior Project, Adkins' sales will contribute $1 from each ticket to the charity.

Also performing at the fair is the U.S. Freestyle Motocross National Championship Series, which will highlight the nation's top riders performing aerial stunts and launching motorcycles more than 70 feet in the air. Motocross fans can watch these high-flying athletes at 8 p.m. Aug. 19.

Truck and tractor pull at 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 17: Harness racing at 1 p.m.

Rough truck contest at 7 p.m.

Aug. 18: Nationwide Demolition Derby at 8 p.m.

Aug. 20: Rodeo bull riding and barrel racing at 8 p.m.

Aug. 22: Horse pull at 11 a.m.

Truck, tractor and semi pull at 5 p.m.
