Three adults were also taken into custody on warrants, including Paul A. Zimmerman of Coshocton, who was wanted for missing a court date on felony drug charges.

Christina Parks, Kiah's mother, and Chastity Parks were also taken into custody, according to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office.

Kiah Parks had been missing since March 8. The sheriff's office had reported that the girl was believed to be with her mother, who does not have custody.

Coshocton County Children Services, Jacksonville Florida Sheriff's Office and the Coshocton County Prosecutor's Office assisted detectives.

The incident remains under investigation.

Zimmerman, 36, of 677 Wilson Ave., already faces multiple charges in Coshocton County.

Paul A. Zimmerman

On March 9, he failed to appear in court for sentencing on felony drug charges. He faced a maximum of two years in prison and $5,000 in fines on two fifth-degree felonies of trafficking in heroin. He pleaded guilty Feb. 2 to both counts, which accuse him of selling, or attempting to sell, about a half-gram of heroin in August 2013, according to his indictment, filed in October 2013.

He had been out on bond since November 2013 before being arrested again in January after authorities accused him of leading law enforcement officials on a car chase and reportedly ramming a cruiser. He was formally indicted this week on that incident.

He was charged with felonious assault, a first-degree felony, and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony.
