Sniderman out as part of FMC reorganization

Ohio

LANCASTER – Fairfield Medical Center spokeswoman Donna Stalter confirmed Tuesday afternoon that Howard Sniderman, formerly the chief operating officer for FMC, is no longer employed with the hospital.

The hospital plans further communication about the reorganization of its operational structure, it said in a press release.

"On behalf of all of us at Fairfield Medical Center, we thank Howard for his years of service and for all he has done to make FMC what it is today," FMC president and CEO John R. "Jack" Janoso Jr. said in a statement.

Over the years, Sniderman had been involved in nearly all the expansion projects at the hospital, including the ongoing Project BRIGHT (Build, Revitalize and Innovate for Greater Healthcare Tomorrow).

That project expansion includes 116,000 square feet of additional space housing 10 surgery suites, 36 private, pre-operative/post anesthesia care rooms, 30 private patient rooms, and other upgrades.

The nearly $38 million, bond-financed project, will be paid for by growth in surgery and technology.
