Two injured in Ohio 159, Delano Road crash

CHILLICOTHE – The investigation into a Friday afternoon crash on Ohio 159 and Delano Road that injured two is continuing.

According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, Robert Sizemore, 88, of Circleville, was southbound on Ohio 159 in his 1995 Chevrolet S10 pickup about 1:10 p.m. when he failed to yield at a red light at the intersection with Delano Road and struck a 2001 Mazda Tribute driven by Theresa Ashe, 69, of South Bloomingville, who was westbound on Delano.

Both Sizemore and Ashe were transported to Adena Regional Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries and Sizemore was cited for failing to yield at a red light.

Green Township Rescue and EMS and Union Township EMS assisted at the scene.
