• 2:23 p.m., a caller said a man was picking mushrooms in his woods, C.R. 85, Madison Township.

CRASH

• 1:23 p.m., a caller said there was an injury accident at C.R. 55. At least one person was taken by EMS to hospital, Ohio 300 and C.R. 55 Madison Township.

FIRE

• 12:13 p.m., a caller said there was a fire with no injuries, Ohio 523 East, Rice Township.

DOG BITE

• A caller said she was riding her bicycle and a loose dog began chasing her down the street. The dog caught up to her and bit her in the left leg. The dog’s owner said she did not know if the dog was up to date on shots, 2400 block Napoleon Road, Green Creek Township.

FIRE

• 6:21 a.m., a caller said there was car on fire and it was burning close to a house. There were no injuries reported, 60 block Webster Street, Sandusky Township.

• 6:32 p.m., a caller said were shooting guns without a proper backstop and riding dirt bikes on private property, 2250 block East McPherson Highway, York Township.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

• 6:12 p.m., a caller said men were selling Frebreze from a car with a permit,740 block C.R. 48 Green Creek Township.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

• 12:33 p.m., a caller said a white van was following her while she was jogging, 880 block East Cole Road, Ballville Township.

INJURY CRASH

• 4:15 a.m., a caller said there was a rollover crash and the driver was injured, C.R. 222, Riley Township.

FIRE

• 4 a.m., fire personnel responded to an unattended fire pit, 610 block North Stone Street, Sandusky Township.

FIRE

• 11:18 p.m., a caller said they heard a loud explosion. The fire was controlled, but deputies told the owner to extinguish the flame because a couch was hanging outside the container, 3100 block Ohio 20, Washington Township.

BITE

• 5:22 p.m., a caller said a dog bit a woman was sweeping the sidewalk, 100 block South Main Street, Lindsey.

THEFT OF A CAR

• 4:18 p.m., a caller said a roommate used his car without his permission. The caller did not want to press charges, 1500 block, Tiffin Road.

CHARGED

• A 33-year-old Bellevue man was charged with one misdemeanor count domestic violence.

• A 39-year-old Fremont man was charged with one misdemeanor count domestic violence.

• A 28-year-old Sandusky man was charged with one misdemeanor count failure to appear.

• Steven Wadsworth, 29, Fremont, was charged with one felony count failure to appear.

• A 23-year-old Sandusky woman was charged with one misdemeanor count failure to appear.

• 6:19 p.m., a caller said there were juveniles smoking in the park, Fair Street Community Park.

FIRE

• 1:09 p.m., a caller said there was a brush fire in the woods, 3700 block C.R. 175.

FIRE

• 2:42 a.m., a caller said a commercial vehicle was one fire. Officers said the fired was caused by the breaks on the vehicle, 100 Mile Post Erie Island Plaza.

BURGLARY

• 3:34 p.m., a caller said someone broke into her home, 600 block Ames Street.

DOG COMPLAINT

• 8:07 p.m., a caller said a stray Rottweiler was stuck in a bush. The dog was removed and returned to his owner, 350 block North Woodland Avenue.
