Blues Traveler closes out Lancaster Festival Saturday
LANCASTER – Music, music and more music is the theme for this week’s entertainment offerings in Fairfield County. While the Lancaster Festival is winding down, there are still other places for music lovers to get their fill. Here’s a look at this week’s Best Bets:
Blues Traveler
Eclectic rock band Blues Traveler will close out the Lancaster Festival with the festival orchestra opening at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Ohio University’s Wendel Concert Stage.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate.
They can be purchased in advance at www.lancasterfestival.org or in person at the festival office at 117 W. Wheeling St. in Lancaster. The phone number for the ticket office is 740-653-8700.
Tickets are also available at Lancaster Kroger locations and all Fairfield National Bank locations.
Rockside Winery
Joey & Jessica will be at Rockside Winery and Vineyards from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Rockside is at 2363 Lancaster-Newark Road, Lancaster.
Sweetwater Summer Music Series
The Paranormals will be at Ale House 1890, 149 W. Main St., Lancaster, at 8 p.m. Friday as part of the Sweetwater Summer Music Series.
This will be the fourth of five concerts in the series, with the Salty Caramels slated for Aug. 7.
The Buck Run Stompers
The Buck Run Stompers will be Ale House 1890 at 5 p.m. Thursday.
