Two arrested after Zanesville home invasion

ZANESVILLE – Authorities have taken two men into custody who are suspected of breaking into a home this month, tying up the residents and holding them at gunpoint.

Randall K. Cremeans, 30, 16 S. Pembroke Ave.; and Christopher M. Hendricks, 23, Columbus, have been arrested and charged on multiple felonies, including kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.

The pair are suspected of a home invasion at 6:13 p.m. April 17 in the 400 block of Mead Street. The seven people in the house at the time were held at gunpoint and some were tied up.

Zanesville police arrested Cremeans and Hendricks on Thursday. Each has been charged with seven counts of kidnapping, five counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated burglary. Firearm specification are attached to all those charges.

Cremeans appeared last week and Hendricks appeared Monday for a preliminary hearing. Both remain in the Zanesville City Jail on $5 million bonds.
