Three-car accident results in minor injuries

ZANESVILLE — Three people were taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital after a three-car accident on Maple Avenue at the Bell Street intersection backed up traffic Friday afternoon in Zanesville.

A white Honda Accord traveling southbound ran a red light, striking a blue Honda Civic and clipping a gold Toyota Camry before coming to rest outside Captain D's restaurant.

A juvenile was taken to Good Samaritan as a precaution, along with one person with minor injuries and another with unknown injuries. The driver of the Honda Accord was cited for running a red light.
