Marion woman killed in motorcycle crash

MARION – A 24-year-old Marion woman was killed in a motorcycle crash on U.S. 23 just before noon Saturday.

Lynn M. Tullos was northbound on U.S. 23 just south of the rest area in Richland Township on a 2007 Suzuki GSX 750 when she went off the right side of the road and struck the end of a guardrail, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol’s Marion post.

Tullos, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle. She was taken to Marion General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Assisting the highway patrol at the scene were the Marion and Pleasant township fire departments.

The crash remains under investigation.
