Ferries take maiden 2015 voyage

PUT-IN-BAY – The Miller Boat Line ferries will begin Thursday afternoon when the maiden voyage of the season leaves the docks at Put-in-Bay.

The ferry schedule is posted on the Miller Boatline website with the first ferry of 2015 leaving at 2 p.m. from the Put-in-Bay dock with two more ferries sailing at 3 and 4 p.m.

Ferries leave Catawba Island docks at 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Ferries will expand hours Easter weekend beginning at 8 a.m. from Put-in-Bay, followed by ferries leaving at 9 and 10 a.m. and again at 2, 3, 4 and 5 p.m.

Once again, Catawba Island ferries will leave a half-hour later.

The full ferry schedule will begin April 6.
