Four arrested after officials report seizing drugs, cash

CHILLICOTHE – Four people were arrested early Wednesday as the result of a drug search warrant being served on a Camp Drive residence.

According to Ross County Sheriff George Lavender, his office was joined by the U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force and sheriff's representatives from Pike, Fayette and Pickaway counties in searching 93 Camp Drive. During the search, investigators reported finding suspected heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, drug abuse instruments and nearly $5,000 in cash.

All of the evidence was collected and the suspected drugs will be sent for laboratory testing.

According to the sheriff's office, those arrested were: Jacob Edwards, 46, charged with permitting drug abuse and possession of a controlled substance; Darell Netter, 19, charged with possession of a controlled substance; Jennifer Norvell, 26, charged with resisting arrest and a warrant from Pike County; and Shawn Zeisler, 24, charged with possession of drug abuse instruments.

The investigation into the arrests and evidence seizures is ongoing.
